The primary goal of the Built Fit ProLifts 3 workout is to build muscle and increase strength.

The whole idea of Prolifts 3 was to create a workout routine for myself to build muscle, which contained some of the aspects from popular workouts which I found to be important.
Here are the aspects that you can learn to be successful in a workout routine for building muscle:
- Variation in volume by different amount of sets, reps, or weight lifts
- Focus on compound exercises
- Adequate amounts of rest between workouts
- Step by step workout template to follow
- Linear progression – continuously adding volume or weight
- 8-12 weeks in length
High reps/lighter weight and low reps/heavier weight variation
